Likwid, if you ride a cruiser we can ride together - I've got a Bonneville.
It's not a cruiser but the Harley guys don't sneer at it quite as much as a sportbike.

So you think you'll come down this way when it warms up a bit?

What bike do you have?
Cheers,

Bill

Why wasn't I informed of this. It must be on a need to know basis. So far every CORE ride I have been on no one has crashed. All one of them.

I ride an '04 Kaw Vulcan 800, I'm sure I'll get down for some rides that go a little south, there's only so many times you can ride the same roads up here. I tend to ride a little fast for a cruiser... but it doesn't change my top speed lol

Well nobody's perfect :)

CORE is socially disfunctional, but we enjoy some nice spiritied rides.

...now I'll resume my hibernation.

it was more of a joke to keep the scared ones away. you know the ones who want to just go fast in a straight line all the time. but i would say between about 50 percent of the time something wrong usually happens. but that's why i love core. it should stand for

you haven't been on enough rides to provide a good ratio ... last couple years has not been good, but we have had a lot of newbs .... different from the days when it would be mainly roamr, tpoppa and I almost every weekend, bam would hit the roads when he wasn't out of state .... and every now and again a few others....

In groups of 3-6, I have seen little crashing on CORE rides even at sprited paces. But this is generally with people that are used to riding together on familiar roads. When you add new riders to the mix that can change. Even after asking newbs to slow down and learn the roads, there seems to be desire to hang with the faster guys and that's when things can go wrong. And I really don't care for those big 20+ person rides.

UP, Tiger Doug, and FoxRacing, for example, were to be able fit right in, but those guys are used to riding at a quick pace and have more than a few miles under their belts.

I guess my point is, F this weather I want to ride!!

I'm sorry my sarcasm doesn't come across on the internet very well. I assumed it was Crash Ohio Roads Everywhere. Most every group ride or at least the vast majority of them have an incident, it's a given. I like the small rides because I can ride how I want to and don't have to worry about the group. I also like the big rides because it gives me the chance to help people out that want help plus there is always a good story to come out of them. I have ridden away from groups in the front because the guys were riding over their heads when I was in sight, a recipe for disaster. I have also slowed down to just a little faster than the front guys to help bring them along when they were riding within their limits but had the skill to go faster. Every group has its own dynamics, I enjoyed the ride I did with you guys because it wasn't my ride so I didn't worry about the group because I trusted the leaders knew what the rest of the guys were capable of. All I had to do was try to keep up with the fast guys in front of me, its way easier following than leading at that pace.

I wanna RIDE!
